X5000 for long-haul transport: configuration selection
Compare three X5000 tractor option columns described for long-distance standard-load logistics, keeping 4×2 and 6×4 axle-ratio and wheelbase choices separate.
These are public manufacturer option columns, not individual vehicles, stock offers or confirmed combinations. An engine list, power range and wheelbase list in one column must not be combined into an invented specification.
Compare the published configuration columns
The selected columns expose relevant differences. Read the operating-duty notes below before treating any column as a candidate.

GVW and GCW identify the manufacturer's vehicle or combination weight columns. They are not payload figures, an allowable road load or a registration approval for your destination.
These columns do not establish a complete body specification, body volume or verified net payload. Confirm body dimensions, volume, installation weight and the resulting axle loads for the actual order.
Technical values retain the source wording and units. Slash-separated entries are options; hp and PS are not interchanged. A blank field does not mean a feature is absent.
What changes the selection
- The two 4×2 columns list 350–480 hp but different axle-ratio options. The 6×4 column lists 400–560 hp and 3.7/4.111/4.625 ratios.
- The 4×2 columns list 3200/3600/3800 mm; the 6×4 lists 3175+1400/3375+1400 mm. The shared 500/600/700/1000 L tank list does not confirm every combination is available.
Confirm before requesting a quotation
- Supply route gradients, annual distance assumptions, trailer and load details for the proposed duty.
- Confirm the selected axle ratio with engine/transmission choice; do not infer fuel savings from a ratio alone.
- Confirm cab, braking equipment, tank arrangement, final dimensions and destination documents in the quote.
The quotation must identify the exact model, chosen options, body or trailer, destination and supporting compliance documents. Price, availability and delivery time require a separate confirmation.
